Chevy Wiper Blades

No matter what the weather conditions are like outside, you need to be able to clearly see the road ahead. That's where the windshield wipers come in. Originally installed at the factory, they sweep snow, ice, rain, mud, and debris from your field of vision. Those metal arms would cause serious damage to your windshield without some form of protection, even when you're using a liberal dose of washer fluid. The rubberized wiper blades that attach to the arms offer that added protection. They use the right amount of pressure to maintain contact with the glass throughout their path, leaving a streak-free view. Some vehicles even feature a rear wiper to clear the view behind as well.

GM Wiper Blades are Ideal

Repeated use and the sun's damaging rays can degrade your wiper blades in due time. You can expect to get a good six months to a year out of yours before they need changing. Still, it's a good idea to check them every month or so just to make sure they aren't showing signs of damage. If the rubber is cracked or broken, it can lead to the blades bouncing across your windshield – which means they're not effective any longer. In extreme cases, they can actually help cause the scratching they're designed to prevent. When you need to replace your wiper blades, don't trust anything but the best. That means the authentic GM blades that were designed for your vehicle. If you choose aftermarket blades, they may not fit right – which is no good.
